Sonolab processes all audio entirely on-device. No audio data is uploaded, stored on external servers, or transmitted to any third party.
Microphone access is used for the real-time Tuner, the Record tab's multi-track recorder, and live input monitoring. Sonolab never opens the microphone without you tapping Listen or Record first.
Recordings you save are written to the app's Documents directory. They stay on your device and are included in local and iCloud device backups. Sonolab does not upload them anywhere.
Separated stems and per-song analysis results are cached locally to avoid re-processing. You can see the current cache size, set a limit, or clear either cache from Settings.
Sonolab does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Your preferences, projects, and display names are stored locally on your device.
This app does not use any analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
